In the summer of 2015, Max Kelley and I found an old "front-clasp girdle" box in the back of his grandmother's van a year after her death. Inside the box were more than 300 negatives of Fitzsimmons family photographs spanning several decades beginning in the 1920s. I spent the summer scanning these well-preserved negatives and compiled this small selection in the fall. The resulting book is dedicated to Max and the Fitzsimmons family.
